Johnson, nominated for a Dove Award, is a jazz composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, born in Guatemala and best known for his performance as a bassist. From an early age, Johnson was immersed in the world of music, performing rhythms such as Jazz, Funk and R&B, among others.

At the age of 20, Leslie was already working professionally as a short, pianist, and songwriter. It was precisely at the age of 20 that Integrity Music, the largest and most prestigious Christian record label on the market, signed it as part of the Guatemalan band Vertical, with whom Johnson had the opportunity to record and travel for more than 4 years, winning, with the band, various awards and recognitions worldwide.

It was in 2010 when Leslie focused her career on music production, an area in which she has had great success and recognition.

Johnson currently serves as bassist and music director for the renowned and award-winning Christian singer Marcela Gándara, in addition to actively participating with musicians from that market such as Julio Melgar and Christine D´Clario. In addition, he is constantly doing Master Classes on Bass and Production in different cities of the United States and Latin American countries.

In 2020 Johnson produced one of the upcoming album by Latin America's best-selling Christian artist, Lilly Goodman (release schedule for Fall 2020)
