Alvaro Lopez

Born in Mexico, he is considered by many critics as one of the best in the world. He currently works as a preacher in Latin America, leader and drummer of the Christian band called "Álvaro López & Resqband", as well as a music producer owning the company "Latin Soul".

Although he began his studies in drums and music theory as a child, his professional debut was at age 14 when he was invited to accompany Emmanuel, one of the best-known and famous singers in Mexico.

When López toured with the greatest exponent of pop music in all of Latin America, Luis Miguel. There he would meet 2 of his best friends: Hector and Heriberto Hermosillo. Later, these three would leave Luis Miguel, and would form the Torre Fuerte Christian group in which he participated for several years.

Currently, musicians such as John Peña, Michael Landau, Abraham Laboriel, Justo Almario, Alex Acuña, Luis Conte, Tower of power brass section, Ramón Stagnaro, Federico Malaman, Aneiro Taño, are just some of the musicians who have participated live and recorded with Res-Q Band.

To date, the group has released eight albums, the latest of which is called Sol Detente and is available in online stores such as Itunes, Spotify, etc. It also annually conducts jazz musical tours and ResqBand concerts in countries such as Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Guatemala, United States, as well as in most States and Cities of the Mexican Republic.
